Comments
The conference will begin with a full day of free public lectures, featuring approximately 60 presentations from water experts in the U.S. and abroad. The following three days, open to conference registrants only, will feature in-depth discussions examining the use of markets and policy processes in water allocation; mechanisms for integrating environmental, cultural, and other values in water regimes; and conflicts and cooperative efforts associated with transboundary water resources. The goal will be to identify strategies for achieving sustainability in the West.
